Why do Jewish people worship Moloch?
I’ll assume that you don’t know who Moloch (whose name sounds –and, indeed, comes from– Hebrew) really was, and that you are asking this question out of legitimate curiosity. So, I’ll answer accordingly.
To begin with, they (Jewish people) quite certainly don’t. They don’t worship Moloch. Judaism is a monotheistic religion that worships God alone and forbids polytheism. In Judaism, God is often referred to in Hebrew as one of His Seven Names, notably “Yahweh” (alternatively spelled “YHWH”) and “Elohim” (this second name is etymologically related to “Allah” in Arabic; it’s no surprise since Hebrew and Arabic are Semitic languages). And “Moloch” isn’t one of the Seven Names.
Second, Moloch is a deity present in ancient Canaanite polytheistic religions of the Levant in West Asia, and (in)famously associated with child sacrifice. These religions were practiced BEFORE the establishment of the monotheistic faith known as Judaism. The Torah and the Old Testament are quite vocal in how they condemn Moloch and the concept of child sacrifice:
“You shall not give any of your children to devote them by fire to Moloch, and so profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.” (Leviticus 18.21).
“And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, that no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to Moloch.” (Kings 23:10)
I hope my answer made things clear for you. Have a pleasant day!
No Jewish people have ever worshiped Molech, this form of idol worship involves passing one’s child in fire as a burned offering to Molech, which is a Biblical prohibition, in which the punishment is death by stoning {Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:2–6}. Though it is written in the Book of Kings that the wicked King Ahaz committed this sin {Kings 2,16:3}, and King Manasseh {Kings 2, 21:6}, though he repented. Except for these two Kings, it is not recorded anywhere that the Jewish people had ever worshipped Molech.
Because we don’t. For the love of God, you wouldn’t even know what the hell “Moloch” was (and probably still don’t anyway) if you hadn’t read about it in our holy book (where, incidentally, it is only mentioned in the form of a great honking commandment not to worship it).
Moloch was an Ammonite god and has nothing to do with Judaism.
Judaism is a monotheistic religion.
Then others came after and copied some of their beliefs and created new religions that became popular nowadays.
Jews worship the one true God and they do not worship idols like this whatever “Moloch” is (I have no idea what Moloch is, and i just googled it, and by the pictures i saw, i can tell you that worshipping it is nonsense), and its forbidden in Judaism to worship any idol.
Because he answers goat sacrifice better than your god. It's that simple.
I tried sacrificing a goat to Muhammad, and all I asked for was a cold bottle of coke. That bastard gave me a warm Pepsi. Now I sacrifice all of my goats to Mammon.
I blame the Muslims, you just can't find a virgin goat to sacrifice anymore, thanks to those guys. Ruined the whole sacrifice economy, so there just aren't that many gods still paying out for one.
For the same reason why people who honor a false “god” at “Christ’s Mass” or Easter. … then say they honor the real deity that has “no name”. The people who call themselves “jews”, see the NAME in Hebrew/Aramaic but refuse to say it, even though the Creator יהוה wants HIS NAME known and used.
A;so… who are the “Jewish” people?
People, including “Jews” have no idea what Tribe they are from.
Technically the Tribe of YaHUdah are the “Jews”.
When pointing at the “Jews”… you realize the other fingers are pointing at you who are ignorant (lacking facts) and come up with stupid questions like above.
The Canaanites did it first, then the Northern Tribes adopted this horror because they did not obey the Creator יהוה much like the rest of the population on this Earth. Then the Southern Tribes after 120 years themselves did this Moloch thing.
The question should be, “Why do “christians” worship a “Christmas Tree” and honor the “goddess” Ishtar (Easter)????
Ignorance is not bliss.
They don’t. They worship a God whose name would be somewhere between “Yahuveh” and “Jehovah” if rendered in Roman letters. Do either of those two sound familiar?
