The Tennessee Highway Patrol said in a Facebook post that between 16 to 20 people were onboard the plane, which crashed near Tullahoma – about 60 miles south of Nashville. Lyle Russell, a spokesperson with the city of Tullahoma, confirmed to The Tennessean, part of the USA TODAY Network, that there were 20 passengers on the plane , including the crew. Three people on the plane were sent to receive medical treatment via helicopter, and a fourth passenger with "more serious injuries" was transported by ground, all of them to local hospitals.
